Agentic Action Settings
Control which AI-suggested action types are enabled, manage CRM field whitelists and blacklists, and configure per-user or per-team action permissions.
Overview
Agentic Actions are AI-generated recommendations that appear in the Action Hub for review and approval. These include follow-up emails, CRM updates, deal stage changes, tasks, and more. The Agentic Action Settings give Company Admins precise control over which action types are available and what CRM data the AI can suggest changes to.
Action Type Toggles
Each action type can be independently enabled or disabled across your organisation:
Send Follow-Up Email — AI-drafted emails with subject line, recipient, and body, sent via the user's connected email and logged in CRM.
Create Task — AI-suggested tasks with name, due date, priority level, and optional notes, created in your CRM upon approval.
Update Deal Stage — AI-recommended stage changes with a plain-language explanation of why the move is suggested.
Update CRM Records — Proposed updates including logging calls, adding notes, or updating specific fields with a content preview.
Create/Update Contact — AI-suggested new contacts or updates to existing contact records based on meeting and email data.
Create/Update Company — Proposed company record creation or updates derived from engagement data.
Create/Update Deal — AI-recommended new deals or updates to existing deal records.
Add Stakeholder — Suggestions to add new stakeholders to deal records based on meeting participants and email threads.
Disabling an action type means the AI will no longer generate suggestions of that type for anyone in the organisation (or for the specified scope — see per-user controls below).
CRM Field Whitelist & Blacklist
For action types that modify CRM data, you can further control which specific CRM fields the AI is allowed to suggest updates for:
Whitelist — Define an explicit list of CRM fields that the AI may suggest changes to. Only fields on this list will appear in AI-generated action cards.
Blacklist — Define fields that the AI must never suggest changes to. All other fields remain available for AI suggestions.
Use the whitelist approach when you want tight control and only want the AI to touch specific fields. Use the blacklist approach when you're comfortable with the AI suggesting most field updates but want to protect sensitive or critical fields from automated suggestions.
Per-User and Per-Team Controls
Beyond organisation-wide toggles, Company Admins can enable or disable agentic actions at the user or team level. This allows for scenarios such as:
Enabling all action types for experienced sellers while restricting newer team members to read-only coaching
Allowing specific teams to use email actions while limiting CRM update actions
Gradually rolling out agentic capabilities as your team becomes comfortable with AI-assisted workflows
The Golden Rule
Regardless of which action types are enabled, Coach Pilot's core principle remains: Edit → Save → Approve. No agentic action is ever executed automatically. Every AI suggestion requires explicit human review and approval before any changes are made to your CRM or any emails are sent.
